1. Davido 

David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, was born in Atlanta on November 21, 1992. The singer dropped out of Oakwood University to focus on music and returned to Nigeria in 2011. Davido became famous after releasing “Dami Duro” off his debut album Omo Baba Olowo in 2012. He won Next Rated at The Headies in 2012. 

He had several successful singles between 2013 and 2015 and signed with Sony Music in January 2016. He subsequently created Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), which signed Dremo, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, and Liya. Davido signed with Sony’s RCA Records in July 2016.

2. Don Jazzy

Don Jazzy, born Michael Collins Ajereh, was born on 26th November 1982. Known popularly as a record producer, he is also an audio engineer, record executive, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Mavin Records was founded by him and Don Jazzy co-owned Mo’ Hits Records with Dbanj. 

Kanye West hired Don Jazzy as a producer at Very Good Beatz in 2011. Don Jazzy produced Lift Off, featuring Beyoncé, for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne album, released in 2011.

3. Femi Otedola

Femi Otedola was born 4th November 1962 and is a Nigerian businessman and philanthropist. Many know him as Ote$ as he’s a billionaire. Otedola founded Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd and owns businesses in shipping, real estate, and finance. He recently invested in power generation as part of Nigeria’s deregulation. 

President Goodluck Jonathan named Femi Otedola to the Nigerian Economic Management Team in 2011. He sold his trademark Forte Oil which was rebranded to Androva PLC renamed Forte Oil As of October 2021, he’s the largest shareholder of First Bank 

4. Flavour 

Nigerian singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Flavour N’abania was born on the 23rd of November in 1983. He started off as a church drummer. Flavour is best known for his famous song Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix). His current label is 2Nite Entertainment. 

N’abania, his debut self-titled album was released in 2005. Flavour released his sophomore album Uplifted in 2010 with singles like Ashawo remix Nwa Baby, Adamma, and Oyi Remix. The album’s success made Flavour an in-demand musician across Africa. Since then, he’s been in the top flight.

5. Toke Makinwa

Toke Makinwa was born on the 3rd of November in 1984. Toke is one of the top 5 female program hosts in Africa. She is most popular for her vlog series Toke Moments and for hosting The Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 FM. In November 2016, she published On Becoming.

6. Chika Ike 

Chika Ike was born on 8th November in 1985. Ike debuted in 2005’s Sweet Love as a minor character. With over one hundred films under her belt, she has starred in films like Paradise, Mirror of Beauty, To Love A Stranger, Girls Got Reloaded and Happy Ending, as well as films like Anointed Queen and The Prince and the Princess. 

With Chika Ike Production, she created her debut film, Miss Teacher, and her reality TV show, African Diva Reality TV Show, for which she is executive producer, host, and judge. 

7. DJ Cuppy 

DJ Cuppy was born on November 11, 1992. She’s a DJ, musician, and producer. Femi Otedola is her father. She was born in Lagos and migrated to London at 13. Cuppy was among Forbes Magazine’s 30 under 30 in 2020. On May 28, 2020, she joined ‘Africa Now Radio’ on Apple Music Beats. 

Some of her popular songs include Jollof on the Jet featuring Rema & Rayvanny and Green Light with Tekno. In 2020, she released Original Copy, her debut album. Cuppy was cast in the Channel 4 reality TV show High Life in 2021. 

8. Goodluck Jonathan 

Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan GCFR was born on 20 November 1957 is a Nigerian politician. He’s a former Nigerian president and lost the 2015 presidential election to former military ruler General Muhammadu Buhari, becoming Nigeria’s first incumbent President to concede defeat. 

Prior to that, he was Vice President of Nigeria under Umaru Musa Yar’Adua from 2007 to 2010 and Governor of Bayelsa State from 2005 to 2007. Jonathan has defended his administration since leaving office. The Bayelsa Education Trust Fund Board appointed him honorary Special Adviser in 2019.

9. Annie Macaulay-Idibia 

Annie Macaulay is a Nigerian model, actress and presenter. Prior to her acting debut, Annie Macaulay–Idibia competed in the “Queen of All Nations Beauty Pageant” and made a cameo appearance in 2face Idibia’s “African Queen” music video.  

Her Nollywood career was launched with roles in Pleasure and Crime and Blackberry Babes. Annie Macaulay–Idibia has two children with 2face Idibia. She’s currently running her own TV series titled Nkóyo.

Sinach is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and senior worship leader at Loveworld and the first artist to top the Billboard Christian Songwriter list for 12 weeks. Her song “Way Maker” was nominated for three GMA Dove Awards and won Song of the Year, making her the first Nigerian to do so. 

In 2021, while on tour in the USA, she was recognized by the US Congress for her song of the year. Among her other hits are; This is My Season, Awesome God, and For This, I Stand Amazed, Simply Devoted, Simply Devoted and Jesus is Alive.
